Coffee as good as Spokane’s, though no better
On Sunday, between movies at the Seattle International Film Festival, we had to find some caffeine just to keep going. So we walked a couple of doors up from the Uptown, which is now owned by SIFF, and ordered my typicial Americano (two shots, extra room so I can add cream) and my wife’s ice tea.
This being Seattle, they are — by definition — inordinately proud of their coffee. And I have no complaints with it. But I could name six places within walking distance of my house in Spokane where the coffee is every bit as good. If you’ve been keeping up with this blog, you’ll know what places they are.
If you haven’t been keeping up? Come back. I’m sure to write about them again.
