Just the thing to salve a hangover
By the time classes begin on Aug. 30, Gonzaga University undergraduates will have another fast-food establishment to frequent. Yes, competing with Jack & Dan’s, Wolffy’s (formerly Amy’s Diner), the Pita Pit, Ultimate Bagel, Geno’s, Pete’s Pizza, Ionic Burrito, Pho Van and any number of other GU district eateries will be the businesses located in the new building set on the corner of Boone and Hamilton: Brucchi’s, Pizza Oven and Noodle Works (all of which are now open) and, sometime soon, Loco Dogz.
Sure, the places offer plenty of filling food, good for carbo overloads, and all at fairly cheap prices. But we are talking about a university campus, you know. So the important news is contained in the above photo: $2 PBR pints after 9 p.m. Just the thing to celebrate a Zag hoops win. Or loss . Or … whatever.
