Summer’s Simple Pleasures, in the parking lot

Doesn’t feel like it today, but sometime in the near future we’re supposed to have sunshiny days that lead to hot summer nights.

The Shop, in the South Perry District , gives us one more reason to love the heat (there will be hotness this year, I hope) in Spokane — free summer movies! Films are shown on the wall of the building that’s now home to Casper Fry .

Bring your lawnchairs or blankets (might have to use these to bundle up in instead of sit on for the first flick at least) and plan to show up between 6 and 7. Movies start when it’s dark but the parking lot fills up quick, so getting there early is totally worth it.
