$5 fill-up

A bunch of us sat out on the patio at Geno’s in the GU District and took total advantage of their Happy Hour menu. The drinks are good and cheap ($2 beers; $3 wells) and cold. The food? It’s tasty and cheap ($5 pizzas!) and hot. Yeah, really. $5 pizzas. Totally splittable for two, or, if you’re ridiculously hungry you can go it alone. Think about it … where else in town can you grab a pizza and two beers for less than $10? No, really. If you know of anyplace let me know!

The pizza in the pic is the $5 (yes, $5!) Chicken Meatball. When we were there they also offered a Margherita and a Pepperoni. Plus I think there were steamer clams and some sort of bruschetta — all for $5 each. Did I mention the $3 wells?
