Endurance, it turns out, is a virtue

It wouldn’t be easy to spend six years as a hostage — especially if the people are holding you are members of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (better known as FARC) and they are hiding you in the jungle. Betancourt will speak about her experience at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, at Gonzaga University’s McCarthey Athletic Center. For ticket information, click here.
