The breakfast basics: eggs, bacon, jalapeno … and beer?

Good restaurants that offer breakfast all day instantly earn a place on my short list.

Good restaurants that offer a big, fluffy omelette stuffed with jalapeno bacon instantly earn a place on my favorites list.

Now that I think about it, any place that serves jalapeno bacon is likely one of my faves. Especially when ordering a Guinness in place of orange juice does not elicit the hairy eyeball.
