What was that strange color in the sky?
As we face a week of potential rain, let’s recall how things were on Sunday afternoon when the sky was blue and a brisk walk could take you to a number of coffee places. In my neighborhood, that list includes Huckleberry’s, Starbucks, Lindaman’s and — strangely enough — Barks and Beans .
But as I walked, I couldn’t help but enjoy that strangely colored sky as it rose up behind St. John’s Cathedra l. Strange because, after several months, the sky seemed destined to remain gray … forever.
Perhaps I need to follow the example of Tricia Jo and start drinking heavily.
