Turow to help sing happy birthday, GU Law
The Gonzaga Law School just turned 100, which certainly is reason for celebration. The school is doing just that, and the kickoff features a literary/law figure, Scott Turow .
Besides having helped propel the lawyer-related crime best-seller craze (his 1987 novel “Presumed Innocent” predated John Grisham’s “The Firm” by four years), Turow has remained tied to the practice of law. His speech, which will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Martin Centre, is titled “”Where Are You, Perry Mason?”
The event is free and open to the public. Click here for more information.
