Like red onions on your junior cheeseburger?

OK, so the photo above shows what remains of my wife’s junior cheeseburger, courtesy of Wendy’s . It’s a perfectly edible burger, and no fast-food place beats Wendy’s for speed: You order, pay for your food and — in most cases — drive to the next window and pick up your food. It’s that fast.

But here’s the problem with the burger my wife ordered: It included a couple of slices of red onion. First, who puts onions on a kids burger? Second, red onions? I know of two people — my sister-in-law being one of them — who are allergic to red onions .

So be careful when you order off the kids menu. Unless you like red onions, of course. Or your kid does.
