The Food here is Central to your taste buds
We’re still at the beginning of Restaurant Week , which began Friday and runs through Saturday. Taking advantage of the opportunity, last night my wife and I took our friend Mike out to dinner at Central Food , already eaten at the new eatery twice, both times for breakfast. This was our first time for dinner.
My wife took advantage, which meant that for $28 (her wine was extra) she got a plate of Thai beef carpaccio (tasty raw beef with marinade on arugula), Idaho sturgeon with braised fennel and tomato-saffron consomme and, for dessert, curry chocolate cake with pumpkin ice cream. Mike ordered a chicken bibb-lettuce salad and an entree of mushroom risotto. I, on the other hand, had eaten earlier and so opted for only a couple of appetizers — a kale salad and roasted brussells sprouts.
It was all good (especially my kale salad, which will bring me back). You have through Saturday to enjoy Retaurant Week at 50-some restaurants. My advice would be to include Central Food on your menu.
