McMorris Rodgers and Waltons

So Cathy McMorris Rodgers and her cabal of One Percenters are citing the greed and insensitivity of the Walton family as proof that the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) won’t work. The Waltons, the wealthiest family in America, threaten to take its workforce off their insurance if the PPACA is funded. How slimy is that?

Not as slimy as McMorris Rodgers and her mentors Eric Cantor and John Boehner claiming this as proof that the PPACA (aka Obamacare or Romneycare) won’t work. That’s like saying your car is not drivable because it has a flat tire while you stand next to it with a knife in your hand. There are plenty of employers out there who feel quite the opposite.

Cuddling up to the Waltons while they threaten their own workers? Disgusting. Next year, vote Democrat and send her back to her fruit stand near Kettle Falls. Maybe if she can hit their price points, the Waltons will buy her wares. I won’t.
