Leverage cheap energy

Our nation has been blessed in so many ways; its location between two oceans separating us from Europe and Asia preventing wars on our land, abundant fresh water and some of the most fertile and productive land in the world, and now we are the world’s leaders in known oil and natural gas reserves. If this energy resource is fully developed, it can be the most beneficial asset for everyone.

We use fossil fuels and their byproducts in everything we do. The abundance of low-cost domestic energy will save every family thousands of dollars annually. This industry will create thousands of well-paying jobs and attract other quality industries to return to the United States. The additional tax revenue can balance the budget and start to pay down our debt.

Inexpensive energy will restrict President Vladimir Putin’s Russian aggression in Europe and Iran’s financial support of world terrorism, support the economics of our allies, and be a major stimulus to Third World countries. We will no longer have to police the Middle East or the tanker shipping lanes.

President Obama and members of Congress, forgo politics for solutions. You have the opportunity to radically change the world without the use of force. Don’t waste it.
