OTV: 9 Downtown Bars Not Too Many

OrangeTV (RE: New bar set to rock downtown Coeur d’Alene ): Ah, this again. It’s not a new bar. It’s an old bar with a new name. Let’s list the bars in the downtown vicinity: Iron Horse, Crickets, Moose, Beacon, Crafted, Mik’s, Lakers, Rocker Room, Eagles. Out of those, only two have not been open for many years. I don’t think 9 downtown bars is outrageous in a town our size. They keep things active and lively, which is what a thriving downtown should be, right? There are relatively few issues, and if people don’t like the nightlife, people can stay home and watch Matlock.”

DFO: “Matlock”? How about “Castle” and/or “Parks & Recreation” re-runs?
