City not pet-friendly

As the owner of two well-behaved golden retrievers, I find it very difficult to find places in Spokane that allow for large dogs. There really aren’t very many restaurants, stores, playing fields or parks that you can legally take your pets to, unless they are small-sized pets.

In my opinion, Spokane needs to become a more pet-friendly city and provide more places where a pet owner, no matter what size their pet is, can take them for fun. Pets should be considered part of someone’s family.

When you go on a family outing, you don’t have to leave your kids at home, so why should you be expected to leave your pets at home? Some dogs actually behave better than some kids.
