Lake City Robbery Suspect Caught
A man accused of robbing bank branches in Idaho and Utah, including a Coeur d’Alene credit union last month, is behind bars after
allegedly attempting a repeat heist near Pocatello over the weekend. Randy T. Jordan, 44, was indicted by a federal grand jury in Idaho last week on two counts of bank robbery. Coeur d’Alene police and the FBI released surveillance footage of the alleged robbery that occurred Oct. 4 around 1:45 p.m. at the Global Credit Union branch at 320 E. Neider Ave. Witnesses said a man, who authorities believe is Jordan, showed a gun and left the bank with $1,244 in cash. In a previous alleged robbery in July, Jordan made off with more than $8,000 from an Idaho State University Credit Union location in Chubbuck, north of Pocatello/SR, AP.
