Just wrote a sentence that will irritate…

…some not insignificant percentage of my readers.

And the weird thing is, it is at the end of a column that will not run until Nov. 18.

I’ll be out of the office all next week. When I return on Monday, Nov. 17, the certain-to-offend sentiment still will not have appeared in print.

Now realizing that might be interesting to me, but perhaps not anyone else.

I’ll try to do better.
