How often do you text the wrong person?

If you exchange text messages with lots of people, you’re probably on the ball enough to be aware of who the recipient will be. Right?

But if 99 percent of your texts are messages to your spouse, it is easy to forget. Let’s say you get a rare text from your mother-in-law. Then, a little while later, you grab your phone to send a message to your spouse.

But you forget that your last incoming text was from your mother-in-law. So your new message goes to her instead of to your spouse.

There is no need to name any names here. But trust me. This is a real-life scenario.

Just one more reason why having a great relationship with your mother-in-law is one of life’s true blessings.
