Coming to the Review Tower won’t be quite the same

Don Hanlon, a friendly S-R fixture familiar to those coming to the newspaper on a regular basis, has retired.

Yesterday was his last day.

Don had been a sane, cheerful presence at the security station in the lobby. I will miss him.

Meant to take a picture of him at his post yesterday, but he slipped out early to avoid any fuss.
