Those who remember Jim Bouton’s baseball classic “Ball Four,” probably recall reading about a certain manager whose fall-back advice was to “Pound that Bud,” as in drinking Budweiser beer.

Fair enough. But that was then.

Might not a manager today exhort his players to responsibly enjoy a frosty microbrew?
