Sex in darkrooms

The getting-it-on in the darkroom trope is pretty well established in movies and TV shows depicting life before the digital era.

I was reminded of that just the other night when “Mad Men” started its last run.

But was there really all that much action near the developing trays and enlarger? I can recall only one real-life instance, and all my information on that incident is second-hand.

But perhaps things have been unusually tame at my various workplaces.
