Here’s a picture of me with my friend Brian Prior.

We met in the mid-‘90s. I have always been impressed with his ability to be both incisive and easygoing.

The first time I mentioned him in print was on this date in 1996.

He was the director of a church camp on Lake Coeur d’Alene then. Today he is the Episcopal bishop of Minnesota.

Lucky for me, he always comes back to Spokane for a few weeks each summer.
