My memories of Expo
I was 12.
I went with my mother. My father was in South Korea and my significantly older brother and sister were already on their own.
We drove up for the day from my grandmother’s place in New York state.
The crowds were somewhat overwhelming. I think the only pavilion we got in was South Korea’s.
But I remember it was cool hearing people speaking French on the monorail taking us from the parking area to the fair site.
So that’s what I remember of Montreal’s Expo ‘67.
What did you think I was talking about?
