“My parents and I went to the Civic Children’s Theater staging of ‘A Charlie Brown Christmas.’ There was a grandmother-aged type in the row behind us and what was ostensibly her granddaughter next to her. The lady leans over and asks the girl, ‘So what do you know about ‘Peanuts’? And without missing a beat, the little girl says, ‘My best friend is allergic to them.’”
