Not everyone here has seen “Vision Quest”

Was talking to a colleague whose teenage son is a high school wrestler.

She said she doesn’t remember ever having seen the filmed-in-Spokane movie “Vision Quest.”

I recommended it as family viewing.

But now I’m having second thoughts. Would one or two of the scenes with Linda Fiorentino make for awkward moments?

Nah, that’s all pretty tame. Besides, my co-worker’s son is 16. I suspect he has seen it all.

Still, you never know about these things. The act of recommending a film is fraught with peril.

But what the hell. It’s not a great movie, but “Vision Quest” is practically Spokane 101.
