For once, I forgot to look

Was in the post office on South Grand yesterday afternoon, to mail a package to my mother-in-law in Michigan.

While waiting my turn, I noticed a display of Christmas cards. A sign said they were 50% off.

One box of 18 cards featured a scene from the 1960s TV classic, “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.”

The message on the cards was “Hope your holly-jolly Christmas goes down in history!”

I bought it.

Only after I got home, did I notice.

“Produced in China”

Eff.

I asked my wife if there were any people on our short list of Christmas card recipients we might designate as “bottom tier.”

She conveyed her reservations about that plan.

Maybe we can use them as scratch paper.

Holly-jolly effing scratch paper.
