What would you say to a moose?

The other day, someone who does a lot of cross-country skiing on Mount Spokane told me that encountering a moose up there is not unusual.

That made me wonder. What would one say to a moose?

I have seen one, but at a distance. But I suppose that if I encountered one up close, I would want to softly speak up.

Maybe “Not that again, that trick never works.” Or something.

What would you say?
