Paul’s People, No. 28

This is Jim Scheele of Wheel Sport South.

He has been taking care of my bicycles since I bought them in 2008.

They are not expensive, exotic bikes. But Jim always treats them with respect and care.

I totally trust the guy. He has the green light to make any repairs, replace any parts that he sees fit. No questions asked.

I have asked him a zillion bike-related questions over the years. He never steers me wrong.

I have alluded to him a time or two in my column, without using his name. But here he is, out in the open.

“We’ll get ‘er ready,” he says when I drop a bike off for repair.

And he always does.
