Paul’s People, No. 34

I first heard from Ted Redman in 1994.

He has shown up in my column a number times since. I enjoy his answers and observations.

Ted is an interesting guy. He grew up in the Inland Northwest and had a globe-trotting career in Air Force intelligence.

When I hear that someone in Spokane has an Air Force background, I typically assume that person is originally from Ohio or Louisiana. Not Ted.

One theme he has addressed a time or two is what it’s like to be a University of Washington graduate in Cougar Country. I love that stuff.
