‘Honor’ other villains

This is an alternate view to that expressed by Ron Johns (“Name a reminder of brutality” – June 10) regarding a reason to keep the name Fort George Wright Drive, as it reminds us of the man’s atrocities. The possibilities are endless for this idea, and we should start the renaming as soon as possible.

On the domestic side, let’s start with the mass murderers of modern times. How about Ted Bundy Boulevard, Timothy McVeigh Drive? Want to go international? How about revising Sprague Avenue to Adolf Hitler Lane? Pol Pot Avenue?

Why remind citizens of the heroic acts of our leaders, Dwight Eisenhower, Abraham Lincoln, George Marshall and George Washington, when we can remind them instead of the dastardly-deed drivers who most certainly deserve equal attention?
