AAA Opposes 3 Road Funding Bills

AAA of Idaho says three last-minute road funding bills introduced in the waning weeks of this year’s legislative session would actually make Idaho’s situation worse, rather than fixing its road-maintenance shortfall. “None of the legislation drafted addresses the underlying problems with the state’s user-pay fees and taxes, which could threaten the long-term viability of transportation funding,” the motorists’ group said in a statement today.
