Your last name prefaced with O’

Sometimes it doesn’t sound like that much of a stretch.

Take Sandy Kelly, for instance. “My name would be O’Kelly.”

Sounds OK, right?

But Sandpoint’s Forrest Schuck isn’t so sure about his own name.

“O’Schuck? Maybe not. Sounds like something you’d say after hitting your thumb with a hammer.”

On the other hand, you have to like what happens to Karen Meye’s name, which is pronounced “my.”
