Paul’s People, No. 4

This is my friend and colleague Jody Lawrence-Turner.

She got hired here because she is my stepdaughter.

Not really. We are not related.

Among her many fine attributes, she is not a complainer. And she has a good laugh.

I’m about to shift the focus of these selfies to people outside the newsroom. But I wanted to post this picture with my friend Jody today because I just learned she will be leaving the S-R soon to pursue an exciting opportunity in her home state of Oregon.

Please wish her well, if you cross paths with her.

I will miss her, and not just because she likes cats and was always willing to bring back food when she went out.
