I have been getting haircuts from Renee Miesen for 25 years.

That works out to about 250 half-hour conversations. So I guess it should not be surprising that we know a fair bit about one another’s lives.

If I had to guess, I would say “aging parents” might have been our No. 1 topic over the years.
