Paul’s People, No. 19

I like John Petrofski for several reasons.

For one thing, he’s not someone who gets mad if I don’t print everything he sends me. (Ask me about that sometime. I have stories.)

And for another, I enjoy his sense of humor.

Back in the spring of 2005, The Slice had asked readers for localized versions of the famous Las Vegas tourism slogan.

John’s answer? “What happens in Spokane…may cause drowsiness.”

Ten years later, that still makes me smile.
