State of confusion
“In the early ‘70s, I worked for the University of Iowa,” wrote Fritz Stout. “A popular sweatshirt sold around Iowa City in those days had this on the front: ‘University of Iowa, Idaho City, Ohio.’
“People not from the state commonly made one or both of these mistakes. I suspect they still do.”
