U.S. wrong to snub Israel

It is disheartening that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recently asked Britain for help in securing Israel’s survival. The United States has always been Israel’s ally, but our leaders reportedly detest Israel and mostly ignore her needs.

America’s rejection of Israel is dangerous, according to the Holy Bible. Several scriptures attest to this, but in two passages concerning Israel, God says: “I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse.” Also, “For the nation or kingdom that will not serve [work with] you will perish; it will be utterly ruined.”

It is unwise to doubt God’s word concerning Israel, and because of our leader’s hostility, we should probably fear for America’s future.

To support Israel, a letter to our senators concerning their vote on the flawed, ill-fated Iran agreement is vital. However, based on our senators’ voting records, they will disregard our letters - including guidance from God - and vote for whatever the president dictates, even at the disastrous expense of Israel and America.

Hopefully Britain is able to help Israel survive since America may soon be “cursed” and “ruined” as a result of our president’s hostility toward Israel and God’s “executive orders.”
