When do you start auditions for indoor plants?

Soon it will be time to bring the plants in.

But not all of the ones you carried outside back in the spring will be candidates for a spot in your home. Some have faded and withered. They’ve had their day.

Still, it’s never easy to toss something living in the trash.

So how do you make the call about which indoor/outdoor plants are not coming back in?
