Gambling in the newsroom

It’s always fun when you work with people whose alma maters field sports teams that play your school’s scholar athletes.

Last week, my school’s football team marched briskly to a 3-0 lead against the University of Arizona. Unfortunately, the good guys could not stay on top and wound up being edged at the last minute, 77-13.

That cost me a dime.

This week, my team plays at Montana. This could cost me a beer.

The point of this inane post? There isn’t any, really. I just wanted to type “77-13.”

I hope the Forestry Dept. is putting up more of a fight.
