A boy and his tiger
The “Calvin and Hobbes” comic strip started 30 years ago this November.
Nov. 18, to be exact.
Yes, it has been shut down for years now. But gone doesn’t mean forgotten.
Whether you plan to note the 30 years that have passed since it debuted is strictly up to you. And I am not even sure there is a reasonable way to salute a defunct comic strip.
Maybe bring a stuffed tiger to work. Or send Bill Watterson a note thanking him for his brilliance.
There’s time to decide. But don’t wait too long.
The days are just packed.
