“Pubic” was not quite the right word

“Several years ago The Spokesman-Review reported on the activities of groups around that region. One January they reported that our Monday Musicale music group had given several ‘pubic’ performances during the Christmas holidays. The ‘L’ was missing and several of our ladies were simply aghast.”

And this one is from Lisa Caldwell.

“We were experiencing an IT problem at work. Our manager sent an email requesting we please ‘bare’ with him. I respectfully declined. I’m just not that kinda girl.”
