During the first week of August in 1992, the S-R features section changed its name.

It went from being Empire Life to being called IN Life. (It’s now called Today, of course.)

The first item of the first Slice column, which debuted that week, sought to put to rest the rumor that “Getta Life” had been given serious consideration.
