Paul’s People, No. 84

Yesterday afternoon, when coming home from a trip, I ran into Mike George out at the airport.

I had not met Mike in person before, but it felt like we were old friends.

In a way, we are. Mike has contributed several column items over the years. That’s always appreciated.

But the thing that makes him stand out is something we share. Both of our fathers were in B-24 crews in World War II. We have had conversations about that.

Both fathers are gone. But their sons remember.
