Fully fund child care

I am concerned about the cap placed on Working Connections Child Care (WCCC). It is expected that we will meet the cap by this summer, and low-income families will be placed on waiting lists for child care assistance.

I want to bring more public awareness to this so that we can urge our representatives to fully fund WCCC in the new budget. If this does not happen, families will have to leave their jobs or turn down new jobs if they don’t have access to assistance. They may also have to settle for cheap and unreliable child care, meaning children aren’t getting access to the quality early learning they deserve.
