Follow lighted path

Fear. Hate.

Two words that describe the tone of our current presidential campaign. Watching rallies and debates is beyond depressing. What happened to hope, peace and Americans pulling together to solve our problems?

Donald Trump is the poster boy for this black cloud, although other candidates jump in occasionally. Trump is short on specifics in his pledge to make America great again, but his supporters don’t seem to mind. Build a wall. Ban immigration. Let everyone carry a gun!

Martin Luther King Jr. said, “Darkness cannot drive out darkness. Only light can do that.”

I encourage us to take that path.
