Not everybody loves it here (and that’s not new)

One risk in reading about famous people born in Spokane is that you are apt to learn why, in some cases, they did not stay here long.

Take the late animator Chuck Jones. He was born here but his father apparently did not like Spokane. So the family headed for California.

It happens. To each, his own. Americans move.

But it does make you wonder. What if they had stayed?

Well, we probably wouldn’t have Bugs Bunny (at least not the later version we think of today). So maybe it worked out for the best.
