Who is still cooking out?

There are those who regard backyard grilling in winter weather as a kind of performance art.

But it’s not all just for show. Certain entrees simply taste better when cooked outdoors.

This probably does not qualify as a “Spokane thing.” I’m sure there are those elsewhere who cook in the backyard in January.

But I have not noticed the telltale aroma of outdoor grilling lately. So I wonder if it actually is going on in other neighborhoods.
