Why not audit fed?

I would appreciate knowing why Sen. Maria Cantwell changed her mind regarding her vote to not audit the Federal Reserve, as opposed to 2010.

In fact, I find it hard to come up with any reason why our elected leaders would not want to be able to audit the source of our money. As President Reagan said, and many politicians have repeated since, “Trust but verify.”

I would sure love to hear Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s reasons to not want to look at the Federal Reserve’s books.
