Paul’s People, No. 95
Back in May of 2011, The Slice asked readers to complete this sentence.
Things haven’t been the same around here since …
Joe Jovanovich offered “…Neighborhood kids had the paper routes.”
I really liked that. And I like Joe.
He has been a provider of good feedback for quite some time, to both my column and this blog.
We aren’t far apart in age, so I especially enjoy hearing Joe’s recollections of growing up in Spokane. When I listen to him talk about the old AAA Spokane Indians, I almost feel like I was here then.
Tommy Lasorda lived next door to his family for a couple of summers. I never get tired of hearing that stuff.
Thanks, Joe.
