Do you remember Fuddruckers?
Jeannine Hill shared this.
“Hi, Paul
“While clipping a column from an older newspaper, I came across your question about how far would you travel for a good meal/hamburger. Our family fell in love with Fuddruckers Hamburgers back in the mid-1980s, when they opened a restaurant near downtown Spokane. They weren’t in business here for very long, but we have made it a family goal to locate and eat at Fuddruckers whenever we travel. We have discovered them in Kelowna, B.C., Lake Oswego, Ore. (our favorite), Missoula, Mont., Las Vegas, Nevada, Buena Vista, Calif., and Washington, D.C.
“We will go out of our way to make sure that we are traveling on a route that will take us past one of Fuddruckers’ restaurants, and now all of our grown children do the same!
“To celebrate Labor Day in 2009, we all piled into two cars and drove from Spokane to Missoula just to have lunch together at Fuddruckers. I’m not sure if we are unbelievably loyal or just obsessed, but our love of Fuddruckers hamburgers is a tie that binds our family together.”
