Some snow falling in lower elevations

Snow is falling in some parts of the Spokane area. But it won’t stick around for long.

It’s the first snow at lower elevations this season in the Inland Northwest.

Showers are are expected to be in the area through mid-morning. In locations above 2,000 feet, precipation probably is falling as snow, said Jeff Cote, National Weather Service meteorologist.

The Spokane International Airport, which is at about 2,400 feet of elevation, is reporting snow, and it’s sticking to the ground outside the weather service office on the West Plains, Cote said/ SR . More here.
